Carpool Trips - Discovery

Explored new placements for the Carpool bundle across the Uber app to grow subscriptions and retain existing Carpool users. The work focused on surfacing the upsell in high-intent moments — where riders were already making trip decisions — rather than relying on standalone marketing surfaces.

Carpool Trips - Booking & Manage Your Pass

Once riders subscribed to Carpool, the next retention challenge was usage. If users couldn't easily redeem passes or manage their plan, they'd churn. I designed the booking flow for pass redemption and the self-serve management surface, balancing speed of booking against transparency about pass usage and renewal.

Uber Settings & Preferences

Redesigned the Uber app Settings page and introduced a new Rider Preferences framework — a persistent system for defaults (accessibility, ride type, temperature, music, conversation level) that riders could set once and override at booking. Built on Base, Uber's design system, so the pattern could extend to future preferences without re-architecting.
